Here Is Okay by kooriyoukai: A gapfiller for the very end of the game, when Riku and Sora are trapped in the darkness. Lovely and sensual, rated nearly G, but an example of eroticism without sex.

Freedom's Just a Word for Nothing Left to Lose by synecdochic - Future AU, although given recent eps, it might not be all that AU. Rodney has left Atlantis and is working at a small out of the way college. Hanky warning . . . this one always gets to me.

Rebuilding Babel by the_drifter: Rodney loses the ability to speak, but luckily, with the help of John, he can still communicate.

Kiss Me All Right by jerksbitch: This one generated a fair amount of controversy, I believe because of misunderstandings by readers that autism =/= mentally retarded. It's a very moving story.

Reaper Boy by wrenlet. "Dead Like Me" for Queer as Folk. Despite being a death fic, it's a very good read and well worth the sniffling.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Spike/Xander)

Credence by tabaqui: this is Spike taken by the Initiative, but it leaves him hungry for revenge. And Xander lets the hyena out. Very violent and bloody.

Quantum Xander by jameschick: Xander hops to different dimensions, hoping that each leap will be the leap home. On the way, he picks up his soul mate.

Supernatural

Something Golden by tru_faith_lost: In the end, Dean and Sam take on Hell together, and when it falls, they climb out together, worse for wear, but whole, which is more than can be said for the rest of the world. Best post-apocalyptic fic ever.
